Keshav Maharaj and Ayabonga Khaka are awarded top honors in the 2021-22 CSA Awards

Johannesburg 15 August : Left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj and pacer Ayabonga Khaka were named as the Cricketer of the Year for Women and Men.of the Year in the 2021-22 Cricket South Africa Awards ceremony which was held virtually on the evening of Sunday.

Maharaj as well as Ayabonga were also chosen by their fellow players to win the Womens and Mens Players"Player of the Year and Player of the Year awards, respectivelyIn the awards for men The pacer, Kagiso Rabada was named Test Player of the Year.

All-rounder Aiden Markram was named the T20 International Player of the Year, while top order batter Janneman Malan was deemed the One-Day International Player of the Year.Left-arm pace and all-rounder Marco Jansen was named the International Newcomer of the Year, while an explosive left-handed batter David Miller clinched the SA Fans Player of the Award of the Year.
