Kerala NEET Innerwear row: Girls are allowed to reappear to take the test

Thiruvananthapuram on August 27 : After protests about girls being made to take off their clothing at the NEET examination center in the state of Kerala in Kollam The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to allow affected medical aspirants to return to take the exam in September if they wish.4.

They also submitted an investigation into the psychological trauma the girls went through.Based on the findings that was compiled, the testing authorities opted to conduct a re-examination for the girls affected who wish to do so at an additional center in Kollam district.

The people arrested at the time included the Mar Thoma institute of ITs Vice-Principal ( the college where the test was conducted last month) and NEET Exam Centre Superintendent Priji Kurian Issac, and NTA observers Dr Shamnad.Two women employees of the college as well as three other employees of the testing organization The testing agency Star Training Academy were also among those who were detained.
