Kerala HC slams road engineers for poor condition

Kochi, Nov 25, : Thursdays hearing of a petition about the poor state of roads in Kochi was a catalyst for the Kerala High Court to condemn the engineering work of the engineers.

He also warned that roads officials would be held accountable if this continues.The roads around the states commercial capital are in very poor condition.

This angered the court who pointed out that if the people responsible for building roads are not capable, there are many people outside looking for work.The state government counsel was then asked to provide a detailed report detailing the repairs and maintenance that were being made on roads throughout the state.

There has been a lot of anger about the states roads for a long time.The quality of repairs and maintenance work is poor, and they are quickly deteriorating in condition.
