Sisodia tweeted: “Deeply stunned & saddened at the tragic demise CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife, as well as other defence personnel who were aboard the chopper.It’s a huge loss for the country.
Kailash Gahlot, Delhi Transport Minister, also said: “Extremely disturbing.May the souls rest peacefully.”
The IAF announced that India’s first Chief Of Defence Staff, Gen Rawat, his spouse, and 11 other people were killed in the crash of their IAF Mi-17 helicopter near Coonoor, Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiris District on Wednesday.
