Karan Johar announces the release date for ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’

Mumbai, Nov 29, : Five years after "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", Karan Johar is back as the director for his comedy drama, "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani".

The film will be released on February 10, 2023.Karan Johar, Dharma Productions head honcho, took to Twitter to announce the release date and update on the shooting schedule.

He shared a video from the sets of the film as he wrote, "After 7 years, it gives me such joy & gratitude to be here and announcing that my next #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani, a love story at its heart with the soul of family values - is releasing on 10th February, 2023 (sic)." The video is accompanied by a jazz melody and gives viewers a glimpse at whats happening on the sets.

The film features the cast engaged in their work, engaging in banter during downtime at the sets and featuring designer outfits.The video also makes a self aware and referential joke about the theme of "Parivaar", which is Karan Johars signature directorials.Filming is currently underway in Delhi.

Farah Khan will choreograph the songs while Manish Malhotra will be responsible for the costumes design.As assistant directors, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Sings son Ibrahim Ali Khan are working on the film.

Shashank Khaitan (Dhadak and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania), Badrinath Ki Dulhania & Ajeeb Daastaans), Sumit Roy, and Ishita Moitra wrote the film.It was produced by Dharma Productions.
