Veteran actress and Lok Sabha member Jaya Bachchan expressed her disappointment on celebrities who criticize the film industry despite earning a livelihood from it.She urged the government to safeguard the film industry from such people hinting indirectly at Kangana Ranaut.The video which contains her speech is shared by a woman named Juhie Singh.It went viral and reached Kangana.
Getting angry at Jaya’s statement, Kangana immediately replied to the video saying “Jaya ji would you say the same thing if in my place it was your daughter Shweta Bachchan, drugged and molested as a teenager, would you say the same thing if Abhishek complained about bullying and harassment constantly and found hanging one day? Show compassion for us also 🙏” (sic).
Kangana’s reply has shocked many Bachchan fans and they are urging Kangana not to drag Shweta Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan into the issue.However, a few fans remind that Jaya’s counter-statement came when the renowned actor and BJP MP Ravi Kishan spoke negatively about Bollywood, but not about Kangana.
Nevertheless, it has to be seen how Jaya Bachchan reacts to Kangana’s bold statement dragging her daughter and son into the issue.
