Bhubaneswar : Nov 25, 2017 - After a disappointing start to their FIH Junior Hockey World Cup campaign in the beginning, India rebounded with a dominating 13-1 win over Canada in their Group B match at the Kalinga Stadium here.
The defending champions displayed aggressive Hockey from the beginning.They scored two goals in the quarter.
Canada was not allowed to play their game.India scored 13 goals with the help of Hundal Araijeet Sing and Sanjays hat trick.
Apart from Sanjay and Hundals hat-tricks for India, Uttam Sing, Vivek Sagar Prasads, Maninder Singhs, Sharda Naand Tiwari and Abhisek lakra made it on the scoresheet.The match was won by the Indian players when Uttam Sing scored his sides first goal with an easy goal.
He did this after making a good move from the goalpost.He also scored Indias first goal yesterday against France.
Vivek Sagarprasad, a left-handed player, dribbled to the corner from which he lifted the ball over the goalkeeper.Canada was struggling to save its citadel, so the Indians were very good with their passes.
India led by 2-0 at the end of the quarter.Canada gained some strength at the start of the second quarter and held firm at the goal line.

Both Indians played aggressive hockey, creating more chances for goals.In the third quarter, they scored two goals for the hosts.
