Joe Pesci to play ‘SNL Pete Davidson’s grandad in comedy series “Bupkis”

Los Angeles, Aug 27 : Joe Pesci has been chosen in his second regular TV role in Pete Davidson, a SNL star,s new comedy series Bupkis reports Variety.

The show was commissioned to be a series on Peacock in April.According to "Variety," "Bupkis" is a one-hour comedy loosely based off Davidsons personal life.

Falco will play the mother of Davidson with Pesci is now is set to play the role of Davidsons grandfather.Prior to that, Pesci had starred in the short-lived NBC series "Half Nelson" in 1985.

Pesci is most well-known for his film work, in particular his collaborations with Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro.The trio have collaborated on iconic films such as "Raging Bull," "Goodfellas The Irishman, Casino, and The Irishman.

Pesci was awarded the Academy Award for best supporting actor for his role in "Goodfellas" and also was nominated in the same category for "Raging Bull" and "The Irishman.Pesci is also well-known for his work in films like My Cousin Vinny the Lethal Weapon franchise and the first two Home Alone films and JFK Variety also says that Davidson will be a executive producer and co-writer on "Bupkis" in addition to appearing.

Dave Sirus and Judah Miller will also write and executive produce the show with Davidson, with Miller being the shows the shows showrunner.aa/arm .
