Ranchi 27 August : In the midst of the political chaos in Jharkhand the MLAs of the ruling coalition were moved on Saturday to Latratu 60 km away from here.A little earlier in the day the JMM-led coalition had an informal meeting at the residence of the Chief Minister to discuss their strategy and their future course of actions.
The fourth meeting of the coalition in the last three days.This meeting was attended by 42 MPs, including Soren, Rameshwar Oraon, Alamgir Alam, Banna Gupta, Champai Soren, Satyanand Bhokta.
The political turmoil in the state began when the Election Commission disqualified the Assembly membership of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in connection with the office of profit case.
Following the EC recommendation, Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais was able to order the denial of the Soren assembly members.of Soren.However, as per the process, an official notice in this regard will be sent out by the Election Commission.
It is possible that the Election Commission will issue the letter in this matter on Saturday, after which Soren must resign.
After having resigned, Soren can again stake claim to be the head of the government since according to reports, the Governor’s order did not prohibit him from running in elections.
