JD-U MLA has accused Bihar Minister Leshi Singh of exorbitant and anti-party actions

Patna 18 August : An internal dispute between two JD-U legislators in Bihar became public on Wednesday following Bima Bharti MLA from the Rupauli assembly seat in Purnea district launched an attack on the state cabinet minister Leshi Singh.

She further claimed Singh was involved in opposition-based activities during the elections "Why Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appointed Leshi Singh minister in Bihar government despite the fact that she is facing serious charges like murder and exortion.If Nitish Kumar doesnt eliminate her from her cabinet ministers post I will resign the MLA position and the party and hold a dharna in front of the residence of the Chief Minister,"" Bharti said "I tried to get the appointment of the Chief Minister, but failed because his office didnt give me enough time to meet with the Chief Minister in person and present my concerns to the Chief Minister," she added "Singh is a member of the Rajput caste, but upper caste voters will not support JD-U.

In the city council (Nagar Parishad) election, she and her son were campaigning against my daughter.In the end, my daughter was defeated with just three votes" the Rupauli MLA declared "Singh used to get funds in Seemanchal the region in the name of her late husband Butan Singh, who was a feared criminal of the region.

Bharti is an MLA for four times of JD-U from the Rupauli constituency was the Sugarcane Minister between June 3rd, 2019 until November 16, 2020 in the Nitish Kumar government.As for Singh, Singh is an MLA for Purneas Dhamdaha constituency and currently holds the position of the Minister of Fertilizers and Consumer Affairs in the Nitish government.ajk/sh.
