Tokyo, November 22, : Japans East Japan Railway Co.launched Monday "office cars" aboard Shinkansen bullet train lines linking Tokyo with the northern and central regions of the country to address the increasing demand for telework in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The workspaces are not available weekends or on public holidays to avoid congestion.JR East believes the service will allow people to travel online and work remotely.
