Jaipur logs 25 of Rajasthan’s 40 new Covid cases

Jaipur, Dec 8, 2008 : In the last 24 hours, 25 Covid cases were registered in Jaipur.This is the highest number of cases in the last five month and brings the total number of active cases to 119.

CMHO Narottam Sharma stated that "Three members a family were in contact with those who had recently tested positive for a new omicron variant." They were shifted to RUHS.

A member of the family that came from Germany also tested positive.He also said that eight other members of the same family have tested positive.Their samples were sent to genome sequencing.

Five school students are among the 25 new cases.In Jaipur, 92 corona patients tested positive in the last eight days.Of these, 9 are Omicron positive.
