Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming highly anticipated film ‘Master’ release was postponed and now the makers have announced that the film will hit the theatres on 13th January 2021 will be the second film locking its release date for the Sankranthi season.‘Master’ was initially scheduled for release on April 9th this year, and later was expected to be out for the Deepavali festival; however, the lockdown following the coronavirus outbreak had delayed its release.The film had recently completed censor formalities and was certified as a “U/A” film.
This film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and has Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi as the protagonist and antagonist respectively and the public is already hyped to see the announcement.
The film also stars Andrea Jeremiah, Ramya Subramanian, Arjun Das, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Nassar, Dheena, Sanjeev, Srinath, Sriman, Sunil Reddy, and others in supporting roles.The team also released a poster along with the release date featuring where they are seen with bloodied scars on their faces, are sizing each other up like two professional fighters do before a match begins.
Xavier Brutto’s XB Film Creators has bankrolled the ambitious project.‘Master’ will have Sathyan Sooryan as the cinematographer and Philomin Raj for editing.This trilingual film will be released in Tamil and Telugu as ‘Master’ whereas in Hindi as ‘Vijay The Master’.It is also known that Vijay met with Tamil Nadu CM and requested him to relax the norms of theatre capacity to its maximum.
