Faiz Hameed, chief of ISI, holds farewell meeting to Imran

New Delhi, November 18th : The News reports that Lieutenant General Faiz Hamed, Director-General Pakistans Inter-Services Intelligence, (ISI) held on Thursday separate farewell meetings in Islamabad with Imran Khan, Pakistan Prime Minister, and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Foreign Minister.

The report stated that they also sent their best wishes to him for his new role as Commander of the Peshawar Corps.The Hameed had visited Pakistan President Arif Alvi earlier in the day.Alvi also appreciated Hameeds efforts as ISI DG to ensure the security of the country.The ISI DG will be Hameed until November 19, when Lt Gen Nadeem Annjum will assume the role.

Imran Khan appointed Lt Gen Anjum the new ISI DG on October 26.The Prime Ministers Office (PMO) has issued a notification stating that Lt.Gen Nadeem Ahmad Anjum was appointed Director General Inter-Services Intelligence effective November 20th, from Para 6 in the Summary.san/ar #Faiz #Hameed #holds #farewell #Imran #Delhi.
