Iran rejects US new sanctions on 6 people, 1 business

Irans Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Saeed Khatibzadeh, has denied US claims of interference in 2020 US Presidential Elections.

He condemned the US new sanctions on six Iranian citizens and one Iranian company, using that "false pretext." According to a report published on the website of Irans Foreign Ministry, Khatibzadeh said that "The Islamic Republic of Iran condemned the USs new sanctions as a continuation of the failed strategy of (former US President Donald Trump) maximum pressure which are desperate actions.

" These allegations being baseless, he said that the US government has a history of interfering with foreign affairs, in various ways, to deceive public opinions, Xinhuas news agency reported.The US Treasury Department issued sanctions on Thursday against six Iranian nationals as well as an Iranian cyber-company for "attempting to influence the 2020 US Presidential Elections".int/khz/ #Iran.
