AB de Villiers’ smashing 51 from just 30 balls in the first innings and Yuzvendra Chahal’s roaring spell with 3 wickets in the second innings, helped RCB in grabbing the first two points in the IPL 2020 table.
After losing the captain David Warner for just 6 runs in the initial stage, SRH were in a comfortable position at 121 for 2 at the 15th over.
A win looked inevitable for SRH as Jonny Bairstow (61) and Manish Pandey (34) have given the crucial 71 runs partnership.However, it was Chahal who turned the game.
The RCB’s key bowler has struck gold with back to back wickets dismissing Bairstow and Vijay Shankar (0) consecutively.
After that, SRH were nowhere near to the win and surrendered with 8 wickets in a span of 27 balls.
