Kolkata Knight Riders take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eighth match of IPL 2020 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
KKR has lost its first game to Mumbai Indians by a margin of 49 runs, while David Warner-led Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a 10-run defeat against the RCB.Both teams are now crossing their paths to score their first points in IPL 2020.
If we look at the overall statistics, both teams have played 17 times against each other in IPL.
Out of which, KKR has an advantage with 10 wins. While SRH has managed to crush the men in black for 7 times.
However, if the last five encounters of both teams considered, SRH has a slight advantage over KKR with a 3-2 ratio.
Although both teams have opened their account with a loss, each is a strong contender to grab the title.
With the players like Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik, Shubman Gill, Sunil Narine, Eoin Morgan, and Pat Cummins, KKR is very strong on paper. On the other hand, David Warner-led SRH equally looks hard with impeccable batting and bowling line-up.
If one of the batsmen from David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Manish Pandey, Priyam Garg, Vijay Shankar gets going, then there is no stopping for SRH to post a mammoth total.
