Ali Khan, who has impressed very much in CPL 2020, has been included in the KKR’s team for IPL 2020.Thus, he becomes the first USA cricketer to join the IPL 2020 tournament.
The 29-year-old fast bowler has helped Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR), which is another team from the same franchise KKR, taking eight wickets in eight matches with an economy 7.43.When the USA team recorded its first win over Kenya in 2018, he was the Man of the Match.Since then he hasn’t looked back and made his place in every franchise he played.
Ali Khan is not a new player to IPL.He had been in the last year’s tournament as a stand-by player in KKR.But this time his place is confirmed in the final eleven, as KKR’s Harry Gurney is out of the tournament.On their first match, KKR will take on Mumbai Indians on September 23, at Sheik Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi at 7:30 PM IST.
