Mahendra Singh Dhoni was upset over Umpire’s decision on Tom Curran’s dismissal.
The CSK skipper has lost his cool, which rarely happens, during CSK’s match against Rajasthan Royals.
The incident happened after one of the on-field umpires changed his decision on seeing the replay on the big screen.
In the 18th over of RR’s innings, Tom Curran got caught by MS in Deepak Chahar’s bowling, and the umpire C Shamshuddin has given it as out.Curran couldn’t refer as the only DRS was wasted by Rahul Tewatia earlier. However, the umpire changed his decision on seeing the replay and rightfully changed his decision on referral to the third umpire.
The replays conclude that Curran did not edge the ball, and it cleanly bounced before entering the gloves of Dhoni.
Dhoni got upset as the umpire C Shamshuddin went for a referral after giving his decision, which is against the rules.
Co-incidentally, Dhoni lost his cool in the same way, a bit more, in Jaipur match last year.He had argued with Ulhas Gandhe over a full toss which wasn’t adjudged as no-all.
At that time, Dhoni violated the code of conduct and no charge was taken.
