A Patna prison inmate has killed an inmate

A prisoner from Phulwarisharif in Patna stabbed an inmate to death on Monday, according to an officialTuntun Rai, a locality from Khajekalan in Patna has been identified and was taken to jail over the past six months.

According to a jail source, Rai was involved in an altercation that ended in a fight with Munna Kumar.He was stabbed in the chest by Munna Kumar, who then grabbed a knife.

Rai and Kumar worked in the prisons face mask production centre.The two of them often engaged in verbal duel.

A jail official stated that Kumar had stabbed Rai in the chest with a scissor after the situation reached boiling point.After the incident, Kumar was defeated by the security guards at the centre, and Rai succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
