Jakarta 11 August : Indonesia is targeting zero new cases of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) by the end of this year since vaccination has been administered to more livestock, the spokesperson of the government for FMD handing, Wiku Adisasmito said.
"The quantity of instances reported has decreased and we are hopeful that by the end of this year things will be controlled," the spokesperson added on Wednesday.
As of Wednesday, FMD vaccination has reached 1,286,550 animals, according to the Agriculture Ministry of the country.Agriculture Ministry.
