Indians who emigrated to America for career, employment, business are flocking there in all fields.

Recently, an Indian woman was appointed as the CEO of an iconic company there.

Yamini Rangan, of Indian descent, has been selected as the CEO of Hubspot, a renowned software company.Yamini from San Francisco will replace Brian Halligan as CEO.Brian has held the position for the past 15 years.He will then serve as executive chairman.

Yamini, who was promoted to Chief Customer Officer last year, is set to be appointed CEO this year.She will officially take over on September 7.Yamini, who previously worked for Dropbox, joined Hubspot in January 2020.In 2019 she was recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the most influential women in business.

Yamini responded to his appointment as CEO.Hubspot said it was an honor to partner with the founders to write the next chapter.Yamini said he will fulfill his responsibilities to make his customers, shareholders, employees and partners proud.

She praised Brian and Dharmesh for laying an amazing foundation over the last 15 yearsHubspot was founded in 2006 by Dharmesh Shah and Brian Halligan.HubSpot serves customer relationship management, social media marketing, content management, lead generation, web analytics, search engine optimization, live chat, and customer support.

The company had revenue of 2,55,000 in 2007.By 2010, it had reached 15.6 million.The company will have 3,387 employees by 2020.
