Indian authorities are worried about explosives discovered in Bangladesh near Tripura

Indian security agencies have been concerned by the discovery of large quantities of explosives and weapons in Bangladesh.

They are now in touch with Bangladeshi counterparts in order to find out where they were intended to be used.Sources said TuesdayThe reports state that the Bangladesh Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit (CTTC), on Monday, recovered a large quantity of ammunition and explosives at Satchhari National Park, Habiganj.

This is four kilometers from the border between India and Bangladesh in Tripura.According to an Indian security source, the Special Drive found around 15 rocket-propelled guns (RPG), 515 rounds of ammunition for machine guns and 25 boosters that are used in RPG launchers.

Indian intelligence agencies recently submitted to the government a report indicating that terrorist outfits such as Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh had been plotting to attack India and Bangladesh.The JMB has reported to Pakistans ISI that they are also plotting to undermine the government of Sheikh Hasina, which also supports terrorism.

Sources within the security setup said that ISI had been providing terror groups in Bangladesh with weapons and ammunition.The government was also informed by the agencies.

Bangladesh CTTC also investigates the explosives and arms targets and shares details with Indian agencies.Sources said that the security services in India have been working closely with the Indian counterparts and have always responded quickly to Indian intelligence on terrorist activity, drug trafficking, and the smuggling and counterfeit currency.
