New Delhi, Nov 25, : India is ready to supply Covishield or Covaxin vaccines all countries, stated Union Health Minister Mandaviya during a meeting with ambassadors from Latin American and Caribbean countries on Thursday.
He stated, “India is driven to the philosophy of Vasudaivakutumbakam’, which has inspired us all to gift COVID-19 vaccinations, HCQs, and other medical necessities for our friends.” India is also willing to supply Covishield to all countries.

Mandaviya stressed the need to strengthen India’s public health system in order to prevent future outbreaks.

He stated that India has been able fight COVID-19 using a “whole of government” approach, where local and provincial governance contributed to the Government of India’s efforts.

He explained India’s strategy to curb the pandemic by saying that 2 of the 6 vaccines approved in India are indigenously developed.Nearly 1.2 billion doses of vaccine have been administered, with 82% of Indians receiving at most one dose and 44% being fully vaccinated.

The Minister thanked representatives of the countries that made it easier for people to contact each other by recognising india’s vaccines.110 countries currently recognize India’s vaccinations.He said, “Mutual vaccination recognition increases ease of travel for business and tourism, thereby boosting the economic recovery that the world so desperately requires.”

He spoke out to highlight how India had helped other countries during the pandemic.He said that India was the Pharmacy of the World and that it has generously provided HCQ tablets as well as other medical equipment to 27 nations.6.63 million doses of Vaccine Maitri were sent to 95 countries.

Mandaviya spoke out about the potential areas of convergence and noted that more than 70,000,000 teleconsultations were recorded in eSanjeevani, India’s most popular telemedicine portal.

He stated that India’s expertise and knowledge in Information Technology would allow it to quickly deploy the CoWIN platform to its vaccination programme.He said that India had already shared the technology to partner nations and that it will assist all countries looking to increase their vaccinations.

The Minister also emphasized India’s triumphant march to universal health care.The four pillars that make up Ayushman Bharat are: 1.5 lakh Health and Wellness Centres at primary level; the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana, which provides insurance to targeted populations; the Health Infrastructure Mission, an outlay of Rs 670 millions that will strengthen India’s public healthcare system, as well as diagnostic and surveillance capabilities; and the Digital Mission, which will provide all Indians a unique health ID and make their medical histories available to approved clinicians in seconds.

He stated, “Under Prime Minister Modi India’s Healthcare is witnessing a revolution which can be adopted and adapted by her friends.”

The Union Minister exhorted all the nations present to look into the possibility of an exchange program for health professionals.Students from these countries would be able to access high-quality medical practices in India in the areas of Cardiology and Neurology, Oncology, Nephrology and Neurology.

This would allow them to upskill their skills as well as expose them to specialty areas of Indian health.He also spoke out about the potential areas for cooperation in medical tourism.

Fleming Duarte, Paraguay’s ambassador, officiated the event.Ambassador of Chile Juan Angulo, Ambassador to Mexico Federico Salas, Mariana Pacheco, Ambassador to Colombia and Ambassador to Chile gave their thoughts for the formation.

They also thanked India’s valuable contribution in fighting the pandemic.
