New Delhi, Nov 28, : India reported Sunday 8774 new Covid cases and 621 deaths within the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family welfare. The cumulative number of 3,39,982,278 patients who have been treated has increased to 9,481 with the recovery of these patients within the last 24 hours.India’s recovery rate is now at 98.34 percent, the highest since March 2020.
The death toll has now reached 4,68,554.
1,05,691 cases are currently active.The active cases currently make up 0.31 percent of the country’s total positive caseload, which is the lowest level since March 2020.
In the same time period, 10,91,236 tests across the country were also conducted.India has conducted more than 63.94 million cumulative tests.
In the meantime, the weekly positivity rate of 0.85 percent has remained below 1% for the past 14 days.
The daily positivity rate is 0.80 percent.It has remained below 2% for the last 55 days, and below 3% for the past 90 days.
India’s Covid vaccination coverage has reached 121.94 million as of Sunday morning, thanks to the administration of 82.86.058 vaccine doses within the last 24 hours.
According to Sunday’s health ministry, there are still more than 22.83 crore unutilized Covid vaccine doses and balance with the states and union territory to be administered.
