IND v NZ: Ashwin, umpire Nitin and Nitin Menon argue over vision obstruction

Kanpur, Nov 27, : India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was seen arguing with Nitin Menon about allegedly blocking the vision of the latter in the first session of day three of the Test against New Zealand.

He then went across after completing his bowling action.Menon was then seen talking to Ashwin about the off-spinners bowling action.

This suggested that the umpire had been blinded while stepping on the danger zone.Ashwin beat Williamsons outer edge with a round-the-off-stump delivery that skid after pitching.

Ajinkya Rahane, India captain, was then summoned to have a conversation with Menon and Virender Sharma, on-field umpires.Ashwin joined the conversation as he continued to complete the action, after he had bowled from around the wicket.

Later, visuals showed Indias head coach Rahul Dravid trying speak to Javagal Srinath, the match referee.On-air commentators suggested later that Ashwin was obstructing Javagal Srinaths vision and that it wasnt Ashwin blocking his view.
