Kanpur : , November 23, 2003 – Team India batsman KL Rahul suffered a muscle strain in his left leg and was ruled out from the series against New Zealand. He will be receiving rehabilitation at NCA to prepare for next month’s series against South Africa.
Jay Shah, secretary of BCCI, stated that Suryakumar Yadav has been named as KL Rahul’s replacement by the All-India Senior Selection Committee.
New Zealand and India will meet for the first time in Kanpur on November 25, 2015.
