TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy has issued several instructions to devotees who want to come to Tirupati.TTD chairman YV Subbareddy said it would be better for devotees to postpone the Tirumala visit.
He said the ghat roads were closed due to landslides on the ghat road.YV Subbareddy said the restoration of ghat roads is likely to take three days.
It is learned that a heavy landslide occurred at 5:45 am on the second ghat road of Tirumala.A bus was reported going on Tirumala Ghat Road.
On Wednesday morning, December 1, 2021, Chairman YV visited the area where the landslides broke.He said that a huge mishap was avoided due to the lack of vehicles when the landslides broke.
He said IIT experts were coming to inspect the Tirumala Ghat roads, and road repairs would be undertaken, only after they inspect.Roads were damaged on four routes.
He said it could take up to three days to restore.He said that heavy boulders had fallen on the road as never before in the last 25 years.
Tirupati was inundated with the recent heavy rains.
