Here’s a modern drama that is both cuddly and provocative, but not too shabby like the Saas, Bahu, and Sajish dramas.
Lionsgate Play’s first Hindi original series, starring Lara Dutta and Shinnova, and helmed and directed by Kunal Kohli.
It is about a single mother who has recently been separated and lives with her teenage daughter, and younger brother.
The characters are well-written and performed by great actors right away.
Although the relatability of these characters is a limitation, it is a story set in a metro and revolves around modern-day problems such as break-ups and single motherhood.However, despite the different setting, the underlying current is the exact same as any dysfunctional family.
Lara Dutta plays Vasudha, a single mother who must come to terms with the fact her husband cheats on her with his assistant.She also needs to find a way for her to live with her teenage daughter, who is full of attitude and trouble.Her grasp on the character is amazing.
Prateik Babbar plays Akhil Rao, a modern metropolitan coder.
He is funny, smart, and sometimes behaves like a fool teenager.This character could only have been played by Prateik.
Newbie Shinova portrays Kavanya Khattar, a teenager who loves to party, gets in trouble, and wants the most handsome man for her boyfriend.This is a praiseworthy performance.
Kunal Kholi has removed the emotional drama but kept it simple, practical, and sensible.This is refreshing and enjoyable to watch.
The series has a refreshing quality that appeals to the viewers.
The hilarious comedy about dating and modern-day relationships that spans two generations (or three) is a heartwarming and well-made.
The show is full of humor and sass.The characters are well-written, portrayed, and established in the first episode.
This makes it easy to follow the entire series.
The show will premiere on Friday, November 26th.
It will be available in English and Hindi as well as Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali.
