He was responding to a tweet posted on Saturday that suggested online trolling by commentators.

“I have been criticized and discriminated against all my life so it doesn’t bother me anymore. He posted the following tweet: “This, unfortunately, happens within our own country.”

“Despite all the criticism they receive about their comm (comments), people such as @Laxmansivarama1 sound so great when they r discussing spinners.”The nuances, finer aspects, and technicalities of spin they discuss r excellent points to any young spinners or coaches to listen to,” a Twitter user wrote.

This issue has been raised by several Indian cricketers, including Abhinav Mukulund, via social media posts.

Mukund wrote a lengthy post in 2017 about the discrimination he faced due to his colour.

Mukund posted his statement via Twitter. He said, “I have been playing Cricket since the age of 10 and I am slowly climbing up the ladder to where I am now.” It is an honor to be able to represent our country at the highest level.

“I am not writing this to gain sympathy or attention, but to try to change people’s minds about an issue that I strongly feel passionately about.Since I was 15, I have traveled extensively within and outside of my country.

Mukund stated that since the age of 15, people have been obsessed with my skin color.

“Anyone who is a cricket fan would know the obvious.I have been playing and training in the sun for many years and have never regretted having tanned or lost a few shades. It’s because I love what it is and because I have spent hours outdoors, I have been able achieve certain things. He wrote that he is from Chennai, one of the most hot places in India and that he has spent the majority of his adult life on the cricket field.

Mukund was supported by Dodda Ganesh (ex-India pace bowler), who also shared his experiences with colour discrimination.

“This @mukundabhinav story reminded me of the racial insults I suffered in my playing days.It was witnessed only by an Indian legend.

It only made me stronger & didn’t deter from playing for India and over 100 matches for Karnataka,” Dodda Ganceh had posted on social networking.

Ganesh stated that he didn’t understand racism or color discrimination in the 90s.Ganesh wishes that no Indian will ever go through “such an ordeal” in future.

“Well, TBH (to be truthful), I didn’t know the seriousness and dangers of racism back in the 90s.It was also not possible to express it.He said, “Hope no Indian ever goes through such an ordeal in the future.”

After Azeem Rafiq, a cricketer for Yorkshire, allegedly made racial slur allegations against Alex Hales and Michael Vaughan, racism or color discrimination in cricket has been brought to the forefront.Rafiq’s revelations led to Hales apologizing.
