Huawei expands development of flagship foldable phones

Beijing, Dec 8, 2008 : Huawei plans to increase the development of flagship smartphones with foldable displays, in particular with P-series flagships.

Yu stated that Huawei cannot manufacture the chipsets by itself.Therefore, we need to work with partners.

Huawei currently cannot buy 5G or 5G-related technology directly from American companies.This technology cannot be purchased from American companies.

Huawei will soon launch Harmony OS, its proprietary operating system -- for its global users -- next year.The Huawei HarmonyOS is available in China as of right now on multiple devices.
