Hockey Junior WC for Men: Odisha Sports Minister evaluates preparedness

Bhubaneswar : Nov 21, 2011 - With only two days until the FIH Odisha Hockey Mens Junior World Cup begins, Odisha Sports Minister Tusharkanti behera visited Kalinga Stadium on Sunday to review the work in progress.

Behera expressed his satisfaction with the organization of the event and said that all protocols and mandatory arrangements were in place.The timely completion of the work is satisfactory.

All of our efforts have been directed towards the safe conduct and success of this event.Im confident that Odisha, Hockey India and myself, will once more be great hosts.

" He said that Kalinga Hockey Stadiums infrastructure is a landmark and highly coveted venue and that all teams are excited to play there.I am happy to report that players are settled well and turf and other facilities at the stadium have been made match-ready.

The visiting teams also have begun practice and training matches."It is great to see this atmosphere," said the Minister.
