Shimla, Nov 30, : Tuesday’s decision by the Himachal Pradesh Cabinet to fill 100 clerk posts in place of the Junior Office Assistant (Information Technology), in the state secretariat under contract, and 50 clerk posts against the expected vacancy in 2022/23. The Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur decided to implement Swaran Jaianti Paramparagat Beej Suvam Samvardhan Yajna in order to double farmers’ incomes by increasing production and productivity of traditional crop varieties.
The Cabinet approved the procurement, supply, and distribution of school bags under Atal School Vardi Yojna for school students in class 1, III, VI, and IX via e-tender by Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd.
Nearly three lakh students would be benefited by this program at a cost of Rs 9 crore
The Cabinet approved the extension of the contract of Tata Consultancy Services for May 1 through April 30, 2022.It excludes any taxes at Rs 6.18 crore.However, the Excise Department would put in a mechanism to run services internally.
It also approved the introduction of The Sardar Patel University in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (Establishment and Regulation Bill), 2021 in the legislative assembly to establish a new university in Mandi.
The Cabinet approved the Draft Electric Vehicle Policy to promote sustainable transport systems and make the state a global center for electric mobility development, manufacturing, and maintenance.
