The highest-ranking Taliban Cleric killed by a bomb hidden in prosthetic leg

Kabul 11 Aug : Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani (a prominent Taliban person was killed in an apparent suicide attack at the seminary in Kabul on Thursday, when the attacker set off explosives in the prosthetic leg, according to Taliban sources and authorities.

Since taking over after the international forces began their withdrawal nearly a year ago the Taliban claim to have restored security.However there have been numerous attacks in recent months, a lot of which are declared by Islamic State.

He is considered to be one of the most prominent people to be killed in this country since Taliban came back to power in January of this year, BBC reported.Despite having the same name, he wasnt related to the Afghan Haqqani militant network.
