Heroine Arrested for Drug Trafficking

Bollywood veteran actress Mamta Kulkarni along with her husband Vicky Goswami have been detained by Kenya police on the grounds of alleged drug trafficking.

Reports suggest that Mamta and her hubby are currently being questioned for their role in drug-trafficking after being detained in Mombasa.

The actress who married in 2012 returned to Kenya to live with her husband.The couple were arrested following an investigation by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Mombasa Police department In 1997, Vicky was arrested in Dubai for trafficking 11.5 tonne of mandrax and was sentenced for life for 25 years, as per Dubai laws.Meanwhile, Mamata, who was acted in good number of films during 90s was not in lime light since decade.

She was last seen in 2001 in Dev Anands film Mamta Kulkarni took Bollywood by storm with her bold act in films like Ashiq Awara, Sabse Bada Khiladia, Baazia and Karan Arjun among others.During her film career, she appeared along with many popular stars, including Mithun Chakraborty, Ajay Devgn, Bobby Deol, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Khanna, Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor.
