Gurugram, Dec 8, : A 26 year-old man and his friend murdered his father, 62, allegedly while under the influence of alcohol in Gurugram’s Mubarikpur village. The incident occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
According to police, the accused is still being held.
A case of murder was filed against the accused due to a complaint by the elder son of the deceased.
Krishan was identified as the victim, while Mandeep alias Tile (son and friend of the deceased) was identified as the accused.
Sandeep, the complainant, told police that his younger brother Mandeep was an alcoholic.
“On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, Mandeep & Mohit were urinating from their house.When my mother tried to stop them, they allegedly beat her up.When my father intervened, they allegedly threw stones at him which hit his head, and he fell unconscious from bleeding.” Sandeep told police.
“My mother informed me about it, and by that time the accused duo had fled from the spot and my father was dead,” said the complainant.
“A case has been opened against the accused at Farrukhnagar Police Station and hunt is on for them,” stated Subhash Boken (Gujurgram police spokesperson).
