Gurugram issue advisory in advance of the New Year to stop Covid spreading

Gurugram, December 27, : .Gurugram’s district health department issued Monday’s advisory to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
This advisory forbade large gatherings of worshippers and fair-goers, and advised that people avoid crowding places during celebrations.It also recommended following all Covid protocol seriously.

In areas falling under the containment zone, the health department strictly prohibits fair or other events.People living in containment zones were also instructed by the advisory to not “excuse themselves from their homes”.

According to the health department, people over 60 with co-morbidities and pregnant women should stay home.Children under 10 years old must also be at home.

The city has seen an increase in Corona cases over the past few days.Official data shows that there were 206 Corona patients in the area in October.

This number has risen to 448 by December.

The order stated that people in the area should be extra vigilant and cautious for the next fifteen days.

A health official stated that more than 4500 Corona patients were being tested each day in the area.

Deputy Commissioner YashGarg stated that there is a high risk for respiratory disease, flu, and other pollutants in December.

The guidelines state that “for any fair or exhibition staggered timings should be taken into consideration and limited entries should not be allowed.” Volunteers should also be stationed appropriately to facilitate thermal scanning, face mask wearing, and physical distancing.To monitor compliance with physical distancing rules and the wearing of masks at crowded locations, CCTV cameras are recommended.
