Gurugram, Nov 29, : The Municipal Corporation (MCG), sealed 46 commercial establishments in Gurugram on Monday, after they were found to have been operating without a valid trade license.
The MCG Commissioner had earlier ordered the concerned officials take action against establishments operating without licenses.Teams of taxation wings, led by Zonal Taxation Officers from the MCG, sealed 27 shops in Sector-10A and Zone-1 markets, while the Zone-3 team of Zonal Taxation Officer Samir Shrivastava sealed 10 shops at JMD Galleria or Eros Mall.
Devender Kumar, Zonal Taxation Officer, sealed 9 commercial establishments at Central Plaza at Golf Course Road in the Zone-3 area.The MCG team sealed the doors of forty-six commercial establishments on Monday.
These centres were not being licensed by the MCG.According to an official at the MCG, all commercial outlets must obtain a business license under section 331, 335, and 336 of Haryana Municipal Corporation Act 1994.He stated that survey work in other areas was still ongoing and that notices were being issued.
The necessary action would follow based upon the replies received "We had identified these establishments in the survey.They were found to be operating these businesses illegally and we have taken legal action against them.
He stated that all outlets would need to be registered with the MCG, and that they will have to apply for a new license.str/skp #Gurugram #commercial #outlets #sealed #licence.
