Central Health ministry says Gym and Yoga centres in containment zones remain closed.
As a part of relaxing the lockdown restrictions through Unlock 3.0, the Central government has allowed Gyms and Yoga Centres to open from August 5th.Recently the Central and State governments have released the guidelines and strictly warned to close the Gyms and Yoga centres in containment zones.The guidelines for remaining parts are as follows…
Firstly, old age people above 65 years and children below 10 years of age are not allowed into the Gyms or Yoga centres.If not followed, the administrators will be liable for punishment.
At all the centres, everyone should maintain 6 feet distance and faceguard is mandatory even while doing exercise or Yoga.A four-square metre distance between man to man and 6 feet distance between man to fitness machines should be maintained.
According to the guidelines it is better not to use N-95 masks.
Washing hands with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer is compulsory at every centre and spitting is strictly prohibited.
Everyone should keep a tissue or a handkerchief while coughing.And track health bulletins from Arogya Sethu app.
Air conditioner temperature should be between 24 to 30-degree centigrade with separate entry and exit doors if necessary.Also spraying the entire Gym or Yoga centre with disinfectants is a must.
Yoga centres should conduct multiple classes if the members are more and the gap between the classes must be 15 to 30 minutes.Finally, Spa, swimming pool, and Steambath should be closed.
