New Delhi, Aug 25 : Google on Thursday extended its Play Games for PC feature in an open beta to players in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Australia.In January the company revealed the news that Google Play Games would be available on PCs as a test experience for a small amount of players.
“Beginning today, we’ll continue our rollout , providing Google Play Games beta available for all gamers in Australia,” said Arjun Dayal Director of Product, Google Play Games.
In the past few months, Google has increased the size of its Google Play Games collection to over 50 titles that are playable on Windows PCs using a separate application created by Google.
The catalog contains a variety of the most well-known mobile games in the world, including Summoners War, Cookie Run: Kingdom, Last Fortress: Underground, and Slam Dunk.
“We’ve made significant progress in cutting down on the minimum specification requirements for running Google Play Games.
Users with an Windows 10+ PC with an integrated graphics card and a 4+ core CPUs are now able to play Google Play Games,” said Dayal.
Amazon has also joined forces with Microsoft to bring Android apps available to PC users.
Google stated that its larger goal is to meet players wherever they are and allowing them to play the games they play on as many devices they can.
“Players who are participating in the beta have expressed delight at being able to play their favorite games across their tablets, phones Chromebooks, PCs, and smartphones,” said the company.
