Google Duo disappeared but its icon is back on Android

San Francisco, Aug 28 : After changing the name of the Duo video chat application to Meet Google, the tech giant Google has restored its initial Duo logo and its name as a distinct shortcut that is displayed in the launcher for the appGoogle has decided to merge its two video-calling services into one , and decided to select "Meet" as the new brand, as reported by 9To5Google.

The Google Duo app is the only one still in use in the sense of implementation.

It is also being upgraded with the new home screen and other features of both services.Duo has a considerably greater installed base.
