Golfer Aditi is 14th, while Tvesa climbs up to 36th in Spain

Marbella, Spain, Nov 28, : India’s Aditi and Tvesa Ashok made a noticeable upward movement in the third round at the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana.Aditi shot 1-under-71, Tvesa scored 2-under 70, and Aditi moved up to T-14 from 22nd.Tvesa was T-36, up from 55th.
Carlota Ciganda, a home favorite, continued her good form.

She leads by three shots heading into day 3.After rounds of 70 & 66 on the first two days of play, the Spaniard shot a round of 70 (-2) and moved to 10-under-par at Los Naranjos Golf Club.

Aditi had one birdie, one bogey and one bogey in the front nine.She also had a bogey at the 10th.

She birdied 15th, 17th, and 10th for 71.

Tvesa made one bogey on her front nine, but birdied three more in the last holes of the back nine to complete her 70.

Ciganda started off with three birdies in her first four holes.She then followed that up with three bogeys, making the turn in 36.However, Ciganda remained at the top of the leaderboard with three birdies and one bogey in the back nine.

Ciganda will be playing alongside Atthaya Thitikul, 2021 Race to Costa del Sol winner, in the final round.

The teenager has moved up to second and the Spanish star is thrilled to tee it with Thitikul once again.

Thitikul shot a 67 (-5), with six birdies, one bogey and a round of play to win the round.

He is now three shots behind Ciganda at seven-under-par.

Next on the leaderboard is Maja Stark from Sweden and Ursula Wikstrom from Finland.They are tied for third on five-under par.

Spain’s Fatima Fernandez cano is in fifth place at four-under-par, six shots behind compatriot Ciganda after a round 75.

Australia’s Whitney Hillier is in sixth place.She followed her 72 and 70 on day one with a round of 71 in round three.
