Golf: Yuvraj S Sandhu clinches the maiden PGTI Title

Digboi : Nov 20, 2018 - After repeatedly knocking at the door earlier in the season, Chandigarhs Yuvraj Sing Sandhu finally pushed it open and clinched his maiden title as Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI).He did this by securing a dominant final round score of 8 under 64 at the R.

60 lakh IndianOil SERVO Masters Golf 2020 Sandhu (66-6867-67-64) set the tournament record of 23-under 265.He won by six shots with M Dharma from Bengaluru (69-6868-68-66) and was crowned the winner at 17-under 271.Sandhu was the overnight leader, by two shots.He won the cheque for Rs.9,69,900 with an eagle and eight birdies in round 4.With his total earnings of Rs.9,69,900, he moved up to the sixth spot in 2020-2021s PGTI Order of Merit.33,69,400.Sandhu is the son of an Army Officer and had an extraordinary season.
