Washington, Nov 27, : According to Johns Hopkins University, the global coronavirus caseload has surpassed 260.5 million.The deaths have risen to more than 5.18million and vaccinations to more than 7.55 billion.The University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE), updated its status on Saturday morning.It revealed that the current global caseload and death toll, as well as the total number of vaccines administered, stood at 260.573,629 and 5,188.428 respectively.
According to the CSSE, the USA continues to be the country most affected by the greatest number of deaths and cases at 48,177 907 and 776 349 respectively.
India is the second-most affected country in terms of cases, with 34,555,431 infections, 467,468 deaths, and Brazil 22,067.630 infections, and 613,957 deaths.
The CSSE figures revealed that the UK (10,125.945), Russia (9.337.575), Turkey (8.702,611) and France (7,654,128) are the worst countries with more than 5 million cases.
Mexico (293,449) and Russia (265,134) are the nations with a death rate of more than 100,000.Peru (200,987) is the UK (145.036), Indonesia (1143,796), Iran (129.462), Colombia (128,343) France (119.818) and Argentina (166,505) are the countries with a death toll.
