Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, a Canadian biotech companys sonotice research, launched Nitric Oxide nasal Spray in the market on Wednesday to treat adults infected with Covid 19.

This spray is said to be intended for adults who are at risk of serious illness if infected.

The drug was launched in India under the name Fabispray.Glenmark, a Mumbai-based company, has previously been approved by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for the manufacture and sale of nitric oxide nasal spray.

Fabispray is designed to destroy the Kovid 19 virus inside the nose.However, it does not reach the lungs.

Expressed confidence that it could kill the COVID 19 virus.It has been shown to have anti-microbial properties with a direct antiviral effect on SARS CoV 2.When sprayed on the nasal mucosa, NONS acts as a physical and chemical barrier against the virus.It prevents it from spreading to the lungs.

Experts say nasal spray may be the most effective and safe treatment for COVID 19.Explaining antiviral treatment, Robert Glennmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.Chief Commercial Officer Crocart said, "We believe this will provide patients with the much-needed timely medical choice." Said.
