Ghare Baire was an exhibition series that traced the history of art in Bengal, from the arrival of European artists to the establishment of colonial art schools.
It also featured the rise of indigenous practices, resistance to imperial impositions and the rising tide of modernism.The curation features the largest collection of Bengali art on public display, as seen through historical lenses.Ghare Baire featured the extensive DAG Collection.
