Germany sets new Covid-19 record with nearly 53,000 cases per day

Berlin, November 18th : .The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), for infectious diseases, has reported that the number of Covid-19 daily cases in Germany reached a record 52,826, a new high.

The German Intensive Care Availability Register, (DIVI) reports that the number of Covid-19 patients who needed treatment in ICUs continued to rise and reached 3,376 Wednesday.This is almost 100 more than Tuesday.

Amid the new Covid-19 wave, Germanys federal states have started to introduce so-called 2G rules, requiring those who visit restaurants, bars and public events to be either vaccinated or recovered, Xinhua news agency reported.According to Xinhua, Germanys Federal States have begun to implement so-called 2G Rules in response to the Covid-19 outbreak.
