Pelli Choopulu remake rights bought by star director

The pocket rocket of Telugu Cinema, Pelli Choopulu witnessed unexpected and unimaginable success at box-office.

The film which was made with budget less than 1cr, went on collecting a share of over 16cr and including satellite rights, parties involved together made a huge profit of 20cr.

Even now, the film is fetching money for the producers.Apparently, the Tamil remake rights have been sold.

Star film-maker Gautam Vasudev Menon has purchased the Tamil remake rights of Pelli Choopulu for a whopping amount.Though the amount is not disclosed, it is said to a hefty deal.

The cast and crew of Tamil version will be announced soon.We have also heard that Bollywood actor Salman Khan is showing interest in remaking Pelli Choopulu in Hindi under his own production house Salman Khan Films.
