New Delhi, Nov 26th : .The Bhind Police in Madhya Pradesh stated that they found out that six additional companies were also registered on Amazon and were supplying ganja in 2kg packs to the same buyers to whom Babu Tex provided the banned substance. The Bhind police, which is currently investigating the whole matter, had last week indicted the executives of Amazon Seller Services Limited under Section 38 of NDPS Act.
The main suspect, Shri Niwas Rao of Amazon, was recently arrested in Visakhapatnam.He was accompanied by two pick-up boys and an Amazon van driver, Venkateshwar, and the police seized 48kg of ganja.This was according to a statement from the Confederation of All India Traders.
CAIT stated that reports of the sale of ganja via the Amazon e-portal were shocking and an eye opener.These companies can do almost anything to make a profit, even selling prohibited items.
