Those who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 will receive a 10% discount at liquor shops in Mandsaur, Madhya PradeshThis order was issued by the Tourism Development Corporation on Tuesday.

However, Yashpal Singh Sisodia, a BJP MLA, has protested against this order.The Excise Officer of Mandsaur District has issued an order stating that a vaccination drive is being conducted to stop the spread of Covid-19.

For this purpose, camps have been set up.On presentation of the certificates of both the jabs, the licensee liquor shop owners offered a 10% discount on liquor purchases.Sisodia stated that despite strong objections, the District Excise officer issued a press release stating that 10% discount would be given by the contractor in three Mandsaur shops if the person has taken both doses.

This is not a valid order and is not the state governments decision.This will encourage people to purchase more liquor, which is not a good thing.

Sisodia has repeatedly opposed the idea of alcohol being distributed during elections.Sisodia also stated that he would rather build roads than distribute liquor to win votes.
